COVID-19 UPDATE
We are extremely excited to welcome back our members to Greenfields Bowling Club after months of lockdown, we want to ensure our members that the proper safety pre-cautions and guidelines are in place to make sure all our members feel safe & comfortable at our club.
To adhere to the government guidelines, we will be asking our members to social distance within 2 metres apart where possible, if this isn't possible please socially distance by 1 metre. We are offering a table only service & will be asking our members to sign in upon arrival. We have also put hand sanitisers throughout the club to make sure everyone can enjoy our club safely.

In 1912, builder Anthony Pace was constructing a small estate with short streets named after various Shakespearean characters. Upon reaching the north end of one called Falstaff Street and within sight of the old River Severn Bed he generously offered a section of the remaining open space for recreational purposes including a bowling green and tennis courts, which was the beginning of our Club.
By 1913, over 100 people had joined the Club and on Thursday 28th June a large assembly of members, prominent bowlers from other Shrewsbury Clubs, guests and friends attended.
Since then, Greenfields and District Bowling Club has welcomed a number of members, generations of families, weddings and special events and we are proud to be able to continue to welcome locals for 106 years and counting!

Membership Information
Had our wedding evening do here, the venue does up beautifully whilst still having a lovely warmth to it. The lady who runs it is so incredible and helpful and the staff on the evening were fab. The whole run up to the wedding the club couldn't do enough for us. Massively recommended for any event. Also the kitchen and toilet facilities are immaculate!
